Ukrainian Pysanky is a beautiful tradition of decorating eggs, an art form that dates back centuries. Eggs are decorated using the wax-resist (batik) method and covered in stunning folk art motifs. Join Linda Hubert, a professional Ukrainia Pysanky artist, and make your own Pysanky. Parma resident Linda Lishchuk Hupert is a master designer and artist who creates the decorated eggs, known as Pysanka, from the Ukrainian word for “to write.” In fact, she has the reputation of being one of the most talented Pysanka artists in the area and is known all over the United States for her artful eggs.All supplies will be provided.
